Two New Tourist Zones Opens at Jim Corbett National Park, Come & Enjoy More Jungle Safari

“State Forest Minister Harak Singh Rawat has announced to start new tourism zones and increase number of permits for tourists in Corbett Park. This initiative has been taken after constant demand by the local hotel association.”

Corbett National Park, News Update:  Ringora and Fato Zone in Corbett Tiger Reserve will be opened for tourists now. A departmental official claims to have opened both tourism zones in the month of February. Forest Minister Dr. Harak Singh Rawat attended a program of the hotel association last week and made the announcement.

Talking to news reporters, the Forest Minister said that from February itself, Ringora Zone is going to open in Corbett Park. Initially, 15 Gypsies will go inside the park in the morning-evening shift. To ease the pressure of tourists on Corbett Park, the Forest Minister has also said to open the Fato Zone inside the Terai Western Forest Division adjoining Corbett Park.

In this Corbett Jeep Safari zone too, 15-15 gypsies will run in the morning and evening shift. This zone would be best for bird watchers. Also, in the Dhela Zone of Corbett Park, now 30 Gypsies will run in one shift.

Tourists visiting Corbett Park will be able to see the rare wildlife species living here. The Forest Minister has also increased 10 Gypsies in Pakhro Zone of Corbett Park. The Chief Conservator of Forests Parag Madhukar Dhakate, CTR Director Rahul was present.

Corbett Festival will be held in April 2020

Proposals regarding opening of new zones were sent earlier in the regime. It was said to give permits for 30-30 Gypsies in Fato zone in the morning and evening 30-30 and in Ringora tourism zone. Apart from this, the Forest Minister held discussions with forest officials about preparations for starting and organizing the Corbett Festival in April.
