Forest Department Extended One Hour Access Time to Enter Sitabani Zone

Here is pretty good news for wildlife lovers as the Corbett administration has decided to increase the entry timing in the landscape area of the Corbett National Park. Now the entry time for the tourists in the Sitabani area has been extended for one hour and hence one can go in the park 4 ‘O’ clock in the evening. Earlier the entry was strictly prohibited after 03 PM. The long term demand of the local tour operators has been executed by the District Forest Officer Khkshan Naseem as official said.

The decision made public after local businessman met Khkshan Naseem DFO Forest department Ramnagar area on Friday morning [29-05-2015]. Traders pointed out that sunset occur late in the summer season. Therefore, access time for tourist’s excursion in Sitabani will be increased from 3 ‘O’ clock in the evening to 4 PM in the evening. As the tourist were facing problem due to high sun stroke in the afternoon and lieu of that demand has been fulfilled while the exit time is kept as usual.
