Jim Corbett, which is in the state of Uttarakhand, is well-known for housing the magnificent Royal Bengal Tigers and having an amazing variety of flora and fauna. The fact that Corbett National Park is open every day of the year is a huge benefit to visitors. Jeep safari, however, is best enjoyed from November to June. Since most of the roads are washed away by rain during the monsoon season, Bijrani and Dhikala zone is closed. Those who have been to the Corbett Tiger Reserve frequently enjoy going on Jeep safaris into the untamed jungle. You must, however, acquire the right authorization from the forest department in order to take this thrilling journey. The main draw of the CTR is the jeep safari. SOMETHINGS TO REMEMBER BEFORE GAZING AT THE BEAUTY OF THE BENGAL TIGER….

PERMISSION MATTERS- Don’t enter the Corbett National Park without first obtaining the necessary permits from the office. When you first reach the forest, hire a guide. They will take you to all the locations where you can see animals. Moreover, be careful to stay on the correct trails and avoid getting lost in the park.

DOORI HAI ZAROORI- Avoid getting too close to the animals. We know it could get exciting but afterall, nobody would want to see shera’s excitement! Keep your cool and collected while in the forest

DRESS- NOT TO IMPRESS- To avoid developing an allergy from insects or wild animals, it is best to wear clothing that covers the arms and legs. Avoid loud accessories, vibrant prints like polka dots and bright colours since these things could frighten or disturb animals or draw unwanted attention to you. To fit in with the environment is the core idea.

BEAT THE HEAT TO ENJOY THE RIDE- To protect yourself from the sun’s rays and sunburns, don’t forget to pack sunscreen, sunglasses, and sunhats. Put on socks and comfortable, covered shoes. We wouldn’t recommend wearing exposing shoes. Make sure you have your medication with you if any of you have allergies to animal fur or dust.

SOME EXTRASSSS- Further suggested are a raincoat, water bottle, first aid kit, antiseptic lotions, a small torch, mosquito repellent, personal hygiene products, band-aids and other similar items.

SOME ADDITIONAL DETAILS TO LOOK OUT FOR….

Just a certain number of cars are allowed admission each morning and afternoon, and day trips to all the zones are rigorously regulated. Visitors are recommended to become familiar with the gate timings and arrive early far before the allocated time to avoid any inconvenience at the last minute.

Private vehicles are not allowed inside the Corbett Tiger Reserve for tourism purposes, but visitors may use one of the specially constructed vehicles that have been registered there. And access to the Dhikala Ecotourism Zone is permitted via specially operated buses.

The Dhikala, Bijrani, and Gairal Zones have canteen facilities, while the other locations have kitchen facilities.
