Tourists Returned Without Exploring the Sitawani Zone, Due To the Full Occupancy in Jim Corbett
Corbett: After Holi, the tourist’s arrival at the Corbett National Park was all of an unexpected kiosk for everyone. But tourists were hugely disappointed with the closure of the Sitawani Zone. The main road and bypass road of Ramnagar were jammed. The closure of the Sitawani zone has made the tourists return from the park without exploring the place. The tourists were generally from different states such as Delhi, UP, Haryana, Maharashtra.
Tourists were unexpectedly disappointed who all came on the day of the festival.
Corbett National Park, Ramnagar is popularly known for the census of tigers. That is the reason why many tourists reach here to roam in Corbett. The Corbett booking was fully occupied during festivals, drivers turned their Jeep towards the Sitawani zone and this also remained closed for two days on the eve of Holi. Sitawani zone is quite famous among tourists for the wildlife view in abundance during their safaris.
Every year Corbett and Sitawani zones were closed on the day of Holi. Corbett opened on time while Sitawani zone was not opened; tourists had to return without visiting the park. Usually, Corbett National Park booking is full so tourists visit the Sitawani zone which makes drivers earn.
As per the statement of Hur Ali, chairman of the Gypsy Driver Committee, only 150 vehicles are allowed in Corbett at a time. Due to the 350 vehicles availability, tourists can enjoy the safari.
